Hi, I’m Sumina!

Raised in Zurich, Switzerland to a family of professional musicians, I’ve been in the music industry for as long as I can remember. The violin led me to study in Berlin, Germany at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler and to New York City for further studies at the Juilliard School.
It was in my early days that I got into social media, and have since garnered millions of views and hundreds of thousands of followers across western social media platforms.

From personal experience, I can attest that cultivating my social media presence and online community has changed my career, and thus, life:

• I was lent an Omobono Stradivari because the lenders became aware of me through a Youtube video,

• I have given lectures at music universities about social media due to my online portfolio,

• I’ve been invited to perform with various orchestras due to my efforts to connect with my audience,

• during the pandemic, I was able to seamlessly create an income through teaching online lessons thanks to sharing the word to my online followers,

• I’ve made various connections through social media which, among other opportunities, have led me to secure jobs in artist management and more.

I’ve created ANIMUS in late 2023 with the mission to support classical musicians on western social media platforms to connect with their audiences, and therefore, my go-to approach in handling social media remains to be of candid, individual nature for each client I work with.
